We offer over 30,000 eco-friendly, Harmony recycled precious metal products for jewelers to choose from — from mill products to finished bridal jewelry! All Harmony recycled precious metals at Hoover & Strong including gold, platinum, palladium and silver are 100% recycled.

Hoover & Strong has provided socially and environmentally-responsible products and services to jewelers for over a century. We believe it is our moral obligation to continually respect basic human rights around the world and to protect the environment by conserving energy and recycling.

Our principal supply of fine precious metals is our on-site refinery, where we only purchase scrap from domestic U.S. customers, giving us a supply of 100% recycled precious metals. The scrap is predominantly in the form of unwanted or broken jewelry, jewelry processing scrap and dental scrap. When it is necessary to obtain recycled metals from other sources, we buy metal from other eco-friendly U.S. refineries that, like us, only use recycled metal. We require all secondary refiners to submit an annual declaration stating that 100% recycled materials only are sent to H&S.

A small percentage of our findings are not made in-house. These findings and 24k grain are not recycled and are not part of the Harmony brand. These items are sourced from U.S. suppliers who are preferably either RJC or SCS certified, or who submit an annual declaration stating that they are a responsible source.
