To verify and confirm our use of 100% recycled metals, we are audited every year by SCS Global Services, a globally-recognized independent third-party certifier and sustainability expert. As part of this certification, SCS Global Services confirms that our range of Harmony recycled precious metal products are manufactured using 100% recycled precious metals.
where our metal comes fromWe purchase scrap from domestic U.S. customers, giving us a supply of 100% recycled precious metals. The scrap is predominantly in the form of unwanted jewelry, jewelry processing scrap and dental scrap. We then refine the precious metal and use it to make over 30,000 jewelry products including mill products, findings, castings and finished jewelry, all of which fall under Hoover & Strong’s brand of Harmony Recycled Metals. When it is necessary to obtain recycled precious metals from other sources, we purchase these from other responsible source refineries that supply recycled precious metals. We require any secondary refinery to provide in writing, full disclosure and confirmation that the precious metal supplied to us is from 100% recycled sources.
